CONSUMERS BEWARE - SHOULD BE A NO STAR REVIEW!

I have never written a negative review about anyone or any company. After my experience today with Styles by Monica, I have to warn others that this business is horrible. It two weeks for me to get an appointment for s service I had purchased through Groupon. Their calendar appeared to wide open until I told them I had a Groupon. The receptionist told me she had a 9:30 and 10:30 appointment so I should come at 11:30.



Today, I show up at 11:30 at the address listed on this site as well as Groupon and they had moved. While getting back in my car, they called to tell me I was late and they would be charging me a fine per the small print on the Groupon. I explained I was at their old location and it was 11:30 so I was not late but was never informed they moved. The person at the salon proceeded to berate me about being late (she said the appointment was for 11;00 - which I NEVER would have agreed to due to previous plans) and having to come to the salon to pay a fee and that I would not be seen today. I explained again that I was not late and was now lost trying to find their new location. No one ever told me they moved when I made the appointment.



To say that the entire experience was beyond insulting, is an understatement. I have never been treated more disrespectfully by a service based business. The fact that I was a "Groupon" customer seemed to make me second rate in their eyes and there was no attempt to right the situation. I will be filing a complaint with Groupon as well but wanted to warn others who might consider using this salon. They should be ashamed for the way they treat would-be customers.
