It seems that almost everything in the car ad description was a lie or a deliberate attempt to mislead a potential buyer.

The advertisement for the car said that the Engine had been REBUILT and was "up and running". The word REBUILT is critical here, because it suggests that most risky expense has been taken care of already and so the buyer would pay more. In the advertisement for this car the word REBUILT was used three times, once in the heading and twice in the copy itself.



The engine is broken, SS cams. Nope, the heads and cams were from a 2.7 Citroen SM engine.
