When you comes for a free routine vision exam( covered by separate vision plan) they may charge you health plan as well without your knowledge and permission for unnecessary medical test. And then, when you not agree with non authorized charges, they sell it to collection.

Always have a wonderful time gong into the Forsyth Location. Always have loved Dr. Umbright and glad he moved there instead of Pearle.

My granddaughter went in for glasses. As she is twelve years old, I let her go back by herself. After the exam was over she came to me and said she had picked out her glasses and that they would be ready in 7 - 10 days. Today we went to pick them up. The frames were way too small. As the tech took them back to adjust them, I asked my granddaughter why she picked those frames. She told me they told her to pick a pair. She pointed out a pair and they said "ok, it wil be 10 business days". I asked if she tried them on and she told me no, that they didn't ask her to. When the tech came back, I told her our discussion and she said" Well, I am sorry, they fit her face." I told her again that they didn't even have her try them on at the time she picked them out nor did they have me come over. She said to me again" I am sorry." then looked at my granddaughter and asked her if she wanted a hard or soft case. I was shocked by the lack of concer and complete dismassal of my concerns. Could it be that she has medicaid??? I do not know the answer as to why we were treated so rudely. But, I do know, we will not be back.
