Doreen and her staff are truly professional’s! The service is top-of-the-line you can walk in there stressed and walk out feeling like you’re on a cloud. The knowledge that they share is never ending. I am a diabetic, with heart disease neuropathy and sadly many other conditions and they always know just how to treat me so that I walk out of there feeling better than I did when I walked in. I would highly recommend them for whatever your needs may be. I have recently tried the pod and the ionic foot bath, These two services are top-of-the-line and I feel healthier for having them. I would highly recommend Branford River resort and spa for your full mind and body experience.

About 8 months ago, I totally screwed up my hair... Totally. I bleached my scalp... it looks horrible... I had to get it corrected. I'm 34 so there was really no excuse for it and I was mortified! A friend had given me a gift certificate a while ago to Branford River Resort & Spa so I figured I would go in for corrective coloring. (Although I didn't even think it was fixable!) I was dreading going in and having a hair stylist say "What were you thinking!?" Well, Doreen was amazing. She didn't make me feel bad about my horrible screw up - she cleaned up my hair like you wouldn't believe! I have been back every 6 weeks since then and I have never been happier with my hair. I love it. Normally, a hair stylist is bouncing from one person to the other; my color is setting and she's nowhere to be found, blow drying someone else's hair. What I love about this place is that Doreen is with you the entire time! Even when the color is setting, she's sitting there talking to you. It's impressive. She checks the development constantly, she has corrected the color, and I love the hair cuts. I get so many compliments on my hair - it's amazing. I don't plan on going anywhere else! I love this place! It is so comfortable to go there. Check it out!

I too had living social deal and understood I did not buy extra work for $49 but color and haircut with blowdry so I paid $50 extra for hilites and absolutely love my hair!!! $99 for two hours was a bargain and now I am a regular. I would not expect to get a filet steak for the price of a hamburger .

This spa is by far the most relaxing place I've ever been too. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their services. They really gave me comfort in knowing my spa visit would be greatly beneficial to me. Cant wait for my next visit...Thank you guys for the awesome facial and massage....Kudos

We had the best day at this spa. Mike and Christina did the best couples massage. we loved the chocolate strawberries and red roses we got. The mimosas were my favorite surprise since we had a morning massage. I decided to try the couples pedicure and manicures and my surprise was hot stone massage with a hot parrafin. We will definitely be back. The outside porch was so great to look out onto the river and water while we drank our mimosas. I just wish that we could have stayed overnight and spent the whole night. What a great time we had!!!! I great find!!!

This was the nicest staff I have seen and experienced at any spa. As a frequent spa hopper, I have to say I will not be hopping anywhere else. The spa is very relaxing and not intimidating at all. My facial with Dana was great and my massage with Sherry was unbelievable. A true spa finder's gem.

A beautiful relaxation with our spa party experience. We had the entire spa for my special wedding day and I could not have asked for a better day. Pedicure and manicure was great. Hair and makeup was beautiful. My facial and massage was totally relaxing. I would recommend this place to anyone.
