With nearly 300 affiliate stores throughout the United States, Smoker Friendly International is one of the largest cigarette and tobacco store retailers in the United States. The company s first store was opened in 1988, making it one of the pioneers of the trade class. Smoker Friendly cigarettes come in regular and 100 millimeter lengths with selections of boxes or soft packs. In addition, the company also has its own line of premium cigars, as well as a full line of pipe tobacco. Its stores are operated under franchise agreements. The company s partners include Cigarette Store Corp. located in Boulder, Colo., which operates 90 stores; S.R.Flaks in Colorado Springs, Colo., which has 25 stores; The Cigarette Stores of Montana in Billings, Mont., which has six stores; Klafters in Newcastle, Pa., which has 12 stores; and Welcome Smokers in Wichita, Kan., with 17 stores.
