Christ Church in the City of Boston, also known as Old North Church, is the oldest standing church building in Boston, having first opened its doors to worshippers on December 29, 1723. Its 191 foot steeple is the tallest in Boston and, because of its prominence, would play a dramatic role in the American Revolution.

Been here twice. Once there was a reinactor who recited Midnight Rider. Other time was a volunteer who gave a short history talk.

Great stop on freedom trail to learn about Paul Revere and the start of the American Revolution. Bust of George Washington is said to be the more realistic likeness of him.

Offer bell tower tours.

Go Behind the Scenes at the Old North! This 30 minute guided tour offers a more in-depth view of the Old North and its history while you explore two areas of the church only accessible on this tour: The Bell Ringing Chamber and The Crypt.
