Great company, with great service and rates. Service installers are very polite and they explain how everything works. The rates are very reasonable and affordable.

I have never written a review online, but after my experiences with the Bossier Suddenlink I'm actually going to go to the trouble. When I moved in to my apartment Suddenlink came to install my cable. Suddenlink has permanent permission from my complex to install outlets, run cable, etc. This was explained when I signed my lease and before Suddenlink came. So on a Saturday morning this apparently hungover guy comes, I give him the $100 or so installation fee and he turns on cable. He then says he can't install outlet in bedroom because it requires permission. I tell him he has it and even show him in the lease where it says so. He instead runs a cable from my bedroom to my living room over my carpet and leaves it that way. That was a year ago. So today I transferred to a new apartment. I made sure to have written permission from the complex manager, even though she says I don't need it because they have an agreement. Brandon, the Suddenlink tech, arrives so stoned he can barely keep his eyes open. I tell him I need an outlet installed in the bedroom. He immediately says he can't do it, it requires permission. I hold up the paper and tell him I have it. He looks dumbfounded, stares at the ceiling for a minute and says there is no way to do it. I ask him what he's talking about, the placement of the other outlet and the way the ceiling is pretty much make for a simple job. He says he has to call his supervisor, because it's just not possible to do it. He calls, apparently the supervisor is as efficient as Brandon because he says no. I tell him he has to be kidding and that if he will go get his drill I will do it myself in 2 minutes. I also offer to train his company on how to do this, as it is incredibly simple. He turns down both offers. I tell him that I was told that for 40 dollars he would come turn on my cable and correctly install an outlet in my bedroom. He says sorry. I tell him fine, turn on my cable since I am paying 140 dollars a month for it and I will install the outlet myself, but I'm not paying you 40 dollars. He goes outside. After about 20 minutes with no cable I become concerned that Brandon may have gotten attacked by flying fu**ing unicorns so I go to find him. He's gone. The son of a bi*ch left. My cable is still on at my old apartment in the next building. He didn't even bother to turn it off. I call Suddenlink. The company is about 5 blocks away from me, but they don't have a local number, so I have to call the 800 number and wait on hold for about half an hour. Finally, I get an operator who tells me that Brandon wrote that I had canceled my service. So they say they will send a different tech out there who will install my outlet and turn on my cable. I ask when and they say they have no idea, someone will call me. Well, no one has called all day. I specifically took today off of work so that I could move all of my stuff and get my utilities switched all at once. However, after waiting half the day I did decide that I am the customer and I don't have to deal with this crap. I called a different provider here who I shall not name. I now have internet and cable through them, my bill is about 40 dollars a month less, I have roughly 150 more channels and I can record shows and also watch them on my tablet and phone. So everyone, if you have always wanted to write a review but have never really had any reason to I encourage you to get you some service from Suddenlink. I guarantee that before it's all said and done you will be writing a novel of complaints, just like I have.
