I cannot say how friendly he is, because I have never met the man. His staff took our paperwork, and called us when it was ready. We had moved from Texas to Louisiana, and since we had retired and had purchased a new house, we knew it would be complicated and we would need an accountant to work on our Fed. & state taxes. I was surprised to see the bill, but I figured he must have had to add a lot of forms, to charge me over $500 for our taxes.

I called his office, again this year, and asked what he charges for his services. The staff told me $150, plus $10 for every additional forms he needed to file. Since we are on Social Security with only a few 1099's, standard deduction with nothing to itemize, I figured it would be pretty simple and cheaper this year. I was completely in shock to see that he charged us nearly $600 dollars, and when I questioned the price, the clerk told me that was the discounted price. When my husband had a business in TX, his CPA only charged us $250 to do his business tax preparation. This was a simple tax. Mr. Barton should not have had to spend much time on it. I will never go back to Barry Barton.

We have been using Barry since he started his business in Benton. He is thorough; professional and such a nice person. He always looks for any deduction we may qualify for. Well priced and we get our returns back in a reasonable amount of time. All of his staff is helpful and very nice. We have recommended Barry to many people and they have all been very satisfied and continue to use him. Highly recommended!!!

Barry is very meticulous with his work. He treats each customer like you are his only or most important customer. He doesn't assume, fot the sake of time, that thiis is what you want at this time. You get his best effort each and every time you leave some work with him! You will not find anyone better at any price!
