Both my son and daughter have gone to FMM and love(d) it. My son is a 5th grader now and still remembers the fun and people he met. My daughter is a "senior" pre-schooler now and will start kindergaten next fall. We can not say enough good things about how wonderful Mrs. Street and Mrs. B are as teachers. We will recommened FMM to friends, family and whom ever wants to listen forever!

Five Mile was a great blessing for our son. The staff really cared about our son and his future. Education was top notch and set him up for great success in school. Emotionally they helped nurture his acceptance of others and interaction with other kids. Simply put they were wonderful and we trust them completely with our children.

Mike and Monica Street have created an outstanding learning and social environment for children at Five Mile Montessori. Children are guided with grace and humor toward formal education. Our daughter still talks about Five Mile, Mr Mike, Mrs B and Mrs Street even though she graduated four years ago. When she initially went to Five Mile, she was shy and an observer. Three years later, she was less shy, had a group of friends, and was as likely to participate as observe. Each day when we picked our child up, we were amazed that over twenty children where focused on their own "work." They were happy, content, and joyful.

We were referred to FMM by three different families that loved the school. Our experience has been more than excellent. Our daughter loved the school and entered 1st grade ahead of her class. Our son currently attends FMM and loves it, and we plan to have our youngest son go there as well. We recommend it to everyone we talk to.

Five Mile Montessori is a wonderful preschool and kindergarten. We highly recommend this school! Our daughter attended preschool when she was 3, pre-kindergarten when she was 4, and is now in kindergarten. She is reading at a 2nd grade level, has mastered addition/subtraction and is now working on multiplication. She loves the science program, where they learn about planets, dinosaurs, and other fun things. She's also drawing maps to learn the continents, countries, and states! In addition to the academic curriculum, the students are taught manners and to respect one another in a self-directed learning environment, with supervised play time. This school is very well run, with wonderful teachers and a great Montessori learning curriculum. Have I mentioned that we highly recommend this school?!

We are so happy with our decision to send our two children to FMM. Our oldest just started in first grade at a traditional school, and is reading at almost a 4th grade level. They still haven't even started learning some of the material that she learned at FMM. My younger is thriving, and is counting in both French and Spanish. Their teachers and staff are nurturing and truly care about the success of each child.
