I had a lot of smoke damage to the walls and ceiling above the stove from a grease fire. It wasn't just a matter of wiping it away, either. It was pretty bad -- we needed professional help to get the kitchen fixed up, so we called this company, Flood Control. They were really understanding and respectful, and got the mess cleaned up fast. No nonsense, they were really easy to deal with and hard working. They made everything clean and now my house doesn't smell like smoke anymore, thankfully! I tell all my friends about Flood Control now!

My husband and I are so grateful to Flood Control for cleaning and restoring our home after a nasty flood. I really think that the quality of their work speaks volumes for how long they've been in business and how valuable they are. They were polite, professional, and hard-working. They really charge fair prices if you have to pay out of pocket, and again, the quality of their work is just so high that you might even forget you had water damage at all!

A leaking pipe caused some ugly water spots on the ceiling that needed to be cleaned up right away. I take great pride in my home and wasn't about to let anything ruin that -- especially not water damage that could be easily taken care of by calling a plumber and a professional water cleanup company. Flood Control is fantastic and do excellent water restoration work. I have seen the results of their work in my own home, and can say they come highly recommended!

I only realized recently that there was a leak in a pipe in my basement. It was dripping into a large puddle that was forming. I don't know how long it was there before I noticed it, but it must have been a while because the drip was slow and the puddle was pretty big. It was sitting there for a long time, too, and making the general area pretty damp. There was mold on the walls and floor around the puddle. Long story short, I had Flood Control come to my house and remove the dirty, stagnant water and clean and remove all the mold. They did a great job and charged a fair price. Great job!

Highly recommended! It's rare that you come across a service company that is respectable and trustworthy. Flood Control is without a doubt both of those! They have a quick response time and actually come when they say they will. I had a small flood and will forever be thankful for how they came and cleaned it all up. The technicians are on the mark and really know their stuff. They made everything dry and clean. They're the best!

What I thought was going to be a fun filled holiday weekend turned into a mess. My family and I went to our beach house for the first time this year, and I guess moisture mixed with the heat we have had...equals mold. And lots of it. I called Flood Control immediately to remove the mold and they're actually still at work today. Their response was so quick and professional though that I wanted to give a review before I forgot. Hopefully we'll be all set for next weekend, and every weekend after!

My kids left the bathtub running for over a half hour and ended up flooding our entire bathroom. It even caused water damage on the ceiling downstairs. I knew it was more than I could handle cleaning and fixing myself so I called this company. The guys who came were awesome. They got rid of the water on the ground, and dried up the water that seeped into the floor and walls. They even got rid of the damage in the ceiling. below. I'd definitely recommend them!

My dishwasher had a horrible break and poured soapy water all over my floor. There was so much it even reached the living room and soaked my carpets. I practically had a panic attack when I started thinking about how much the whole ordeal was going to cost me. I called Flood Control expecting the worst. The lady who answered the phone was great, she was so sweet and compassionate. They sent someone to my house immediately and the tech was so nice. Best of all though, was that the price for everything wasn't NEARLY as much as I thought it would be. They were able to salvage everything instead of just trashing my floors and carpet. Flood Control is a lifesaver. Thanks for making life a little easier!!

I had a couple of inches of water in my basement a few weeks ago from heavy rains. Flood Control did a great job cleaning everything up- from the initial estimate to when they brought the equipment and got the water out and dried everything up. They were polite, professional, efficient and knowledgeable. Superb service!

I found what I thought was a small patch of mold in my bathroom closet, but when I started moving everything around, I realized I had a HUGE mold problem on my hands! I guess the moist steam and heat from the shower started it, and since I never realized it was there, it continued to spread!! I totally thought I was going to get a answering machine when I called on a Sunday night, but they actually had someone answering calls...apparently they do 24 hours a day. So we scheduled a time for a technician to come and look, and he did the next day and thankfully they were able to start removing all the mold right away. They put down chemicals to keep it from coming back too. Great service, guys!

This past winter I had a frozen pipe burst at my house. Water was behind my walls and causing a disaster. I didn't think such a small pipe could cause that much flooding! I called Flood Control and within a half hour they were at my house assessing the damage. They got to work immediately. Thankfully my insurance covered the burst, and all I had to do was send Flood Control my information and they handled all the payments though my insurance. I didn't have to be bothered with all that, I got to focus on getting my home back to normal! Flood Control is great!

We had some bad rain a couple weeks ago that left me with a couple inches of water in my finished basement. We had just gotten it done last year so I was really upset. But boy did Flood Control make the best of a bad situation. They came and got all the water out, then gave me some machines to keep running to make sure every last bit of water was dried up. They said that if it wasn't completely dry that I could get some mold growing and my problem would be even worse! Well thanks to them everything is dried up and back to normal! My thanks go out to everyone at Flood Control!

After I stupidly threw away a hot match, my kitchen had a small fire. I was left with a horrible smoke smelling room and a bit of fire and soot damage. I had used Flood Control for some water damage I had early last year and was very happy with their work. They came and cleaned everything up the next day. Now I can eat my food without having that awful smoke odor in the room! Used them twice, would definitely use them again! --Though I hope I don' t have to!!

So I walked down to my basement the other day to find that my washer completely broke and was overflowing with water all over the basement floor!! Everything was soaked! Flood Control came and soaked up all the water, then dried everything with big industrial dehumidifiers. They were able to restore a lot of my keepsakes and stuff in storage that I thought I would for sure lose. Everyone I've ever spoken to in their offices has been really pleasant, they're a fantastic company!

Super heavy rains caused a bunch of water damage in my home. We didn't quite have standing water, but there was a giant puddle of water that covered almost the entire first level of my house. I have hardwood floors and thought for sure they would all have to be replaced. I have a friend who had some mold removed by Flood Control so I gave them a call in a panic! They came and by the next day my whole house was in the drying process! The best part is they were able to save all my flooring! They really saved the day, and my bank account!

I certainly recommend Flood Control after they did such a great job with my house. Something weird happened with the sewer lines on my street and sent disgusting contaminated waters into my house. I thought it was going to be a total loss because of the diseases that sewage can carry. But their super knowledgeable technicians reassured me they could clean it up and make my home livable again. They did just that. It took some work, but life is back to normal. One of the best parts though is that they dealt with my insurance company directly so I didn't have to be the middleman. A++ for Flood Control!

We had some pretty bad mold in the garage. It started as just a couple dots then it grew into a real problem...I looked Flood Control up online and they were really pleasant on the phone, we scheduled an estimate and their prices were fair so I had them remove all the mold. They applied chemicals too so it we shouldn't have problems in the future. I definitely recommend their mold remediation services!

Last week at the office I manage, the sprinkler system went crazy and soaked everything. A family member had recommended Flood Control so I called and they were able to come within the hour to check out the damage. They started working immediately and dried everything up. For the papers that weren't able to be reprinted or replaced they also have document drying services. They did a great job!

A broken pipe behind a wall left my bedroom in three inches of water. I was really devastated...my insurance company directed me to Flood Control and they came right away and removed all the water. They left machines here for a couple days to make sure everything was thoroughly dry, and even did a treatment to make sure that no mold would grow. I work for a major retailer in the Opry Mills Mall in Nashville TN and am extremely satisfied with Flood Control, Inc.'s professionalism while dealing with our staff as well as the insurance adjusters and at the same time getting a huge undertaking done well. Their clean up, salvage and drying efforts after the 'big flood of 2010' at the mall was and still is a blessing.
