My wife and I recently moved down from the tristate area and frequented NYC restaurants a fair amount. We decided to try the bluffton room for our anniversary yesterday and could not have been more pleased with our choice. The service was very good. From the complimentary valet, and the manager greeting us at our table, to our server knowing our last name and welcoming us to the restaurant.

The food was flawless. Perfectly cooked steak and duck (medium rare on the steak and duck skin and fat was exquisite). Great selection and knowledgeable staff who offered up valuable recommendations. The drinks were perfectly mixed and very tasty.

The cost was on point for what should be expected of a restaurant aiming to be high caliber, a little high, but not excessive to the point of cringing as some places are.

If there is something that I could give negative marks for (and I am giving negative marks) by the end of our dinner, my wife and I were rushing to get out of the restaurant due the heat and humidity. In a fine dining establishment you expect to to be comfortable throughout the entire night. Sadly this was not the case. It might have just been an off night, but with the lack of fans inside and the wall to wall window open, the humidity and heat grew as the evening pressed on. With such great service, food, drinks, and ambiance... it is sad that the environment (temperature) didn't match the rest.

I would like to say that I will be heading back to this restaurant as the multitude of pluses far outweighed the negative. On a whole, this establishment was a fantastic pick.
