Beaufort County Public Library is a fully equipped library with a large collection of books on environment, health, career, science, computers, course books, Bible study and technology. The library also offers online books, encyclopedias, magazines and journals. It holds book sales throughout the year in cooperation with the Friends Organization. The library organizes an array of children s programs, including youth reading, reading rascals book club, preschool storytime, tiny toddler time, nursery rhyme time and art exhibitions. It also organizes programs for adults, such as computer classes, senior happenings, let s talk about books, and the movie day. The library s reference department provides network catalog, electronic databases and Internet, and interlibrary loan. Beaufort County Public Library has branches in Bluffton, Beaufort, Lobeco, St. Helena Island and Hilton Head Island, N.C.
