Equipment includes Presses from 27 to 176 ton capacities for materials including aluminum, brass, steel, stainless steel & galvanized steel. With an in-house tool & die facility, we are metal stamping specialists with 70+ years of experience! Bahrs designs, builds and maintains all tooling and fixtures in house. This affords us control over all aspects of the manufacturing process. Metal Stampings: (Certified ISO 9001: 2008) Progressive die stampings, custom stampings, including steel, brass, aluminum, vulcanized fibre, copaco paper, copper, and stainless steel. We have over 16 presses from 27 tons to 176 tons. With over 70 years of experience in the business, We can handle small and high volume production runs. Dies: Two engineers with over 60 years combined experience designing and building quality tools, dies and fixtures. We also repair, sharpen and modify existing dies to exact specifications. Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) For prototype pieces, production items, damaged die sections, and inserting new features. ELOX Machine for blind holes and for extracting broken taps. Water Jet Cutting: Allows the creation of prototype parts without the cost of tooling.
