Established in 1999, Columbia County Christian School is an independent, interdenominational Christian school offering college preparatory and general education programs. It enrolls students in grades kindergarten through 12. Its elementary school has small classes that focus on fundamentals using a biblically-based curriculum that integrates Christian education into every aspect of the student s work. In its middle school, math and language arts continue to be the center of attention, while the biblically-based natural and social science curricula expand. Core subjects are supplemented with special classes in art, music, drama, computers, physical education and foreign languages. Its high school students are offered a college preparatory curriculum taught from a distinctively Christian perspective. The school additionally provides various extracurricular and sports programs, such as soccer, football, track and field, cross-country, basketball, baseball, baseball and softball. It provides weekly chapel services as well. Columbia County Christian School is located in Bloomsburg, Pa.
