Roma has some of the best pizza in the Savannah area in my opinion, but the lady that works there is so ridiculously rude. The father and son that make the pizzas are great and I have found that not only is the service better when it’s just them but the food is actually better. Hands down my favorite pizza, but also hands down one of the rudest ladies I have ever had to do business with. I actually logged on to hear to write about her because I’m afraid that they will go out of business because of people not wanting to deal with this lady and I don’t want that to happen because it’s great pizza. Also this isn’t just my opinion, several people I know say the same thing.

I had enough money on my card to cover my purchase total of $16.80. She swiped my card and it timed out. So she had my husband swipe it again and the card declined, and swiped it again and it declined again. When my husband said thats not correct and called the card company, the rude lady behind the counter said its just a hold. Ok if you are holding my money hostage give me my pizza! She refused our pizza and refused to put the money back on my card. So im out $16.80 on my card and no pizza! Do not purchase pizza from this place, its not worth the hassle, go to little ceasars or lips where you get what you pay for and people are not rude to ya. I will never go to Romas pizza ever!

I called to order a delivery. I wanted a sandwich for 7 dollars. The manager was put on the phone and said "I can not deliver that far." and hung up immediately. I wanted an explanation on why I ordered the same sandwich to the same adress a few weeks ago and it was fine. Horrible resturant, dominoes in the same area delivered wonderful service, I suggest them.

I tried to order their 6.99 16" special on Sunday only to be informed they were out of the 16" pizzas. (Not sure how this is possible). The girl on the phone informed me the next one she had was an 18" for 7.99, ok no problem. I go to pick it up and the girl tries to swipe my card while simultaneously saying, "your total is $16.80 something.". Whoa hold on! I tell her whoever I talked to said they were out of the 16" and the 18" was 7.99. At this point she became very rude claiming she was the only one there and she "wouldn't a said nothin like that.". I continuously try to explain to her I'm not paying the $16 when I was told $7.99 then she tells me to hang on. What do you know, there's been a manager hiding in the back this whole time! I tried explaining to the mgr what was going on and couldn't hardly be heard over the rude little girl standing off to his side repeating over and over that she did nothing wrong. He tells me the 7.99 was Monday and Tuesday only and the price would be $16 but he could "let me have it" for $9!!! I told the crook to keep it and try to trick somebody else. Very rude workers who lie to your face, won't listen to your side of the story and don't care what kind of experience a first time customer has. Save your money on this one and go to Little Caesar's!!!
