Gerald Otte Blair Middle School offers an array of academic programs for students in grades six through eight. It also provides binders, pencils, pens, compasses, eraser, calculators, notebooks, colors, highlighters and markers. Additionally, the school offers afternoon meals and bus transportatiton services. Its counseling department conducts workshops and offers character education programs. The school s athletic program consists of interscholastic and intramural activities, such as football, track, volleyball and basketball. Located in Blaire, Neb., the school maintains a media center that offers educational and recreational reading materials. Gerald Otte Blair Middle School is a part of Blair Community Schools, which covers an area of more than 140 square miles and is a member of the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges.
