Just working on getting this One Star rating up after a Hit Piece by my closest Homewood competitor at the Shoe Hospital.

Not a nice person, has no interest in helping his customers, only cared about how much money something is worth to him. He stole the advertising of a competitor. Go anywhere except to this guy

This is clearly NOT one of my customers, but instead a HIT JOB by my closest competing shoe shop in Homewood or one of his friends. How do I know? Because Allen M. does not site any particulars about his experience with me coming in my shop or what he was getting repaired. It is just baseless bashing. How do know that this was generated by my closest competition? Because Allen M. would not know that I purchased my closest competition’s domain address, unless he was told that by the competition or IS the competition hiding behind that phony name. This Allen M. has made no other comments on any other businesses, which is suspicious. Why would I buy my competitors name? Because the competitor used to be a close friend growing up. Decades ago trying to help him I made the mistake of suggesting that he get into the shoe repair business because he had to get away from his dead end job and did not know what to do. I showed him the ropes, and after learning the business, together we tried to find him a location. Behind my back he signed a lease right up the street from me, taking half of my customers. He cut my prices and has repeatedly stabbed me in the back ever since with constant crazy attempts of trying to stealing ALL of the customers. The rivalry will continue. This Hit Job is just another example. He’s a good guy as long as does not have the opportunity to steal your customers. He just can’t handle being friends with someone in the same business, something that I did not know in the 80s. Also, I love how he added an extra three years to the time that he has been in business on this YP listing. He opened in 1988, 2 years after I did in 1986. He has not been in business 33 years. Nice try Vic….
