The ownership and employees of The Paint Firm did a superb job properly pricing quote as well as implementing our project. We had our whole interior of our residence repainted. Ryan and his team was on time daily and also cleaned up prior to they left. They were respectful and attentive. The proprietors checked out during the work to make sure all was being done appropriately and also to attend to any kind of problems we might have had. We will definitely make use of The Paint Business of Birmingham again in the future and also we advise that you do too!

Peter and his team just completed painting work on the exterior of our house. The painting teams did an excellent job. They were well organized, neat and the attention to detail was second to none. We hired The Painting Company this spring to paint the first floor of our house inside. The owner came out to give us the estimate and he was wonderful! Sadly, the painting quality did not match our expectations or his sales pitch. The crew that they sent to our house was, according to the front office staff there, "the best crew that they have." The first few days they did seem to do good work but then began to rush so they could get to another job. The crew did not do all of the preliminary work they were contracted to do (nail pops, sanding in the kitchen, priming doors, etc.) and we had to have a supervisor come out after they were done and then he sent them back twice. My husband was so fed up that he said he never would use them again or recommend them and that he NEVER wants them in our home again. I now have paint PEELING off the French doors in our great room and our painting was done in March. Also, they told us they painted our bedroom and bathroom with two coats of oil paint on the trim in under six hours!! No way can that be! Save yourself the headache and expense, find another painting company or painter! Also, The Painting Company's quote was HIGHER than any of the other five companies we received estimates from. We thought we were paying for quality - we weren't!

I too hired the Painting Company. They advised me to put my new carpeting down before they painted, promising that there would be no paint on the carpet. They did not do what they said. Although the man I dealt with thuoght the paint was minimal, I do not. They did offer a soultion. That was to have brand new carpeting professionally cleaned. My carpet would not have to be cleaned if they did as they said. I hope that other people see this review. I could go on but I intend to let the courts decide. If you want a good paint job with flaws this is the place to go. I had 4 rooms painted by this company in March 2012. There are lots of nail pops, spackle repairs and touch-ups that need to be made. The painters painted my laundry room and even damaged my dryer. The Painting Company sent the painters back to do touch-ups the week after they painted. The painters arrived at the scheduled time looked at all the touch- ups that needed to be made and told us that they had a part time job to go to and wouldn't be able to do the work that day. It is now May and we are still waiting for the touch-ups to be completed and even after repeated phone calls and conversations with the office staff and manager nobody has addressed the damage to my dryer. The manager told me he would get in touch with his friend at Home Depot to find out about repairing my new Whirlpool Duet dryer... but two months have passed and I'm still waiting for those repairs or even the courtesy of a phone call.

I would say that if you use them stay in every room they paint to make sure they don't damage anything. Also, follow behind them to make sure you get all touch-ups done before they leave because you won't have much chance of getting them back to complete the job.

I was really saddened by their performance because I listen to their ads on Rick & Bubba all the time. I had planned to use them next year to paint 5 more rooms, but have serious doubts about that too.



Does anybody understand customer service and commitment to a job well done anymore? It seems doubtful.
