Dr.Moon & His Staff are very professional and in the same sentence they are also like Family... They actually care about their patients. Dr. Moon is a great doctor that takes the extra time to make sure that the diagnoses is 100% accurate and that you (as a non Med student) understand 100% everything that is going on. I know with all the News about Opiates, people are having misconceptions about Pain Medicine but as long as we have legit doctors like Dr.Moon we will have good doctors (not Pill Mills) treating patients with the unfortunate burden of pain management.If the USA had more doctors like Dr. Moon (Doctors that cross every T and dot every I because They know it's the best option for the patient not because a insurance company is forcing them to do it) then we as a community can start to control the opiate problem the right way. Not the way, that benefits the Insurance Companys. In Conclusion, if you are looking for a good honest doctor then give Dr.Moon a call and his Staff will take great care of you with a smile on their face!!! I am not a patient or a member of the staff but I have been going for two/three yrs with a family member so I have no reason to lie. All I can say is this is the BEST doctor in AL and the Best Experience we have had in AL.

I have been a patient here for over 3 years now. Dr. Ronald Moon is the best doctor that I've ever had, and I've seen many that barely understood my conditions and problems. I also enjoy his staff, as they've gotten to know me and really care about my life. He has a vast amount of knowledge for the human body from the inside of your organs to the pain you're experiencing, whatever the cause. He's also quite a character, orignally from Hawaii and a HUGE University of Alabama fan! I appreciate his wit, sense of humor and ease that he makes me feel so I'm not as nervous when I'm there! He hand writes all his notes in your file so that your privacy is kept and helps me with all the treatment options I need. Every month I see him and we go over what I've written down on my papers filled out, he gives me trigger point shots without steroids (this is an option), and refills what I take. I always leave knowing I've been helped. If you have chronic pain, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Moon!!

The most unfriendly, unhelpful, uncompassionate, inhumane staff I have EVER encountered! There is only ONE exception to this and he is the Physical Therapist. Victor is exceptional at what he does and his desire to help people but, he is limited by Dr. Moon who orders the same treatments over and over that were not having any long term benefit. I have 3 young children and a very busy life. There have been times when I had a sick child and needed to reschedule my own appt. They charge you a fee and then refuse to call in a few days worth of your medication (that you are not suppose to abruptly stop taking). If I ever had to take one or more of my children with me, one nurse in particular (Sharron) would tell me that they "really didn't appreciate me bring my children" or that "it is extrememly frowned upon bring your children". Sometimes as a Stay-at-home mom, I have no alternative! Of course I would rather not bring them to the doctors office with me but, at times, it's unavoidable. To this the nurse would reply very snidely "How unfortunate for you". I have left my appointment on many occassions in tears because of the treatment (and lack of medical treatment) that I recieved. They will not work with you in any way, including the day/time of your next appointment. On a few occasions I was allowed to choose a time that was more workable for me but, more often than not, I was handed an appointment card when I was ready to leave with a date and time on it. Those dates/times were not always workable for me but, they would not budge and would only give a prescription to last until the appointment day/time that they had chosen! I would not reccomend this place to my worst enemy!
