Overall, this is the best Mexican Restaurant in B'ham. I grew up in Ft Worth with the family that owned El Chicos, so there is a reason for my enthusiasm. Mexico Lindo is the only one, so far, that is like the authentic Mexican cuisine of the past. Everyone else is trying to adapt or change their food to appeal to Urban Hipsters and food faddists...Not this fine establishment!! The best of the best is the "Tocinetas de Camarones", start with that and try something different on each visit. This is the only place I know of in this area that even makes the Shrimp wrapped in Bacon....The service is excellent, Futbol is on the tube in the Cantina, or Beisbol sometimes. They have Mole, Rellenos, and all the usual Mexican meals, but try something that you have never seen anywhere else...My Wife loves the Margaritas on Weds, and they have something every day of the week as a special.
