Jon Knight totally overcharged us! He turned off the water to the dishwasher and charged $350. The dishwasher was not repaired. DO NOT CALL HIM FOR YOUR REPAIRS.

The worst experience. Totally taken advantage of and overcharged. On what universe does a plumber charge $175 a hour??? This is not rocket science to pour cascade and bleach in my drain and turn jets on cost just about $300! Pricing was not discussed before and on the invoice no explanation or break down of charges. Total waste of time and money that did not fix the problem.

I called 7 other company's and Jon Knight was 700.--1200.00 cheaper and completed the installation and the other Projects in less than several hers. So he was cheaper did more and will be my plumbing contractor for my home and my rental properties for now on.

I told my wife I would say what a great job jon knight did .and I did wait a little long but here goes.i am a forensic doctor and I work long hours one nite i had a drain leaking in the guest bath and company due in the next day I tried to fix it myself and broke the pipe into the wall I called jon knight at 900 pm in a panic he came out and I was very angry at myself but took it out on him .jon I am truly sorry he took the abuse and got to work and corrected it by having to remove some tile but I caused it by not calling him first jon even tiled up the hole I had caused and everything was better than new.....thanks again I learned always hire a professional plumber first i learned my lesson and my wife won't ever let me forget ..Lol.

Called and spoke to Jon Knight and found a friend.,great worker and very professional in every way. Never told me anything but the truth . did the work in time for me to meet him first thing in the morning and by lunch back To work i wish redid room additions just an awesome experience...

Hello i am a retired Lt. Colonel in the Air Force and I expect a certain type of order in my home, which I had up to the other day until my faucets all started to drip .,. I got on the military index of local military owned plumbing companies in Shelby County and found only one Jon Knight Plumbing he had alot of great reviews and from my past experiences its always best to have only professionals in my house and of course he excelled in helping me understand what was wrong and how to fix it., truly a relief in my mind and very affordable.

I have found a truly professional plumber , he was also very affordable, clean, and very courteous. I am a single working mother with two children so i dont have a lot of money to throw away so when i purchased my home i thought there wouldnt being any problems , found out the first day we had no hot water and i was referred by a friend to Jon Knight., and I am glad i did he came out with a free estimate and found the problem and the water heater was under warranty so he removed it replaced it and now i have a new water heater., please dont waste your time with the big companys that take alot and give you little ..Kristy

I am Jim Reeves I just found time to write a review for this great plumbing company I found..let me see I have it started with a flooded basement bad water heater caused by old age and faulty pressure. .Jon told me all water heaters that aren't a Rheem or Rhuud only last 3-5 years mine lasted 2 yrs got it at Lowe's never again Mr Knight came in and just replace it with a Rheem 50 ga gas and my pressure was at 110 I had him replace that too along with two faucets a outside faucet and two toilets and you know for all that it was less than 50% cheaper than the other 6 companies that quoted this guy is good. Clean and proper and solid gold this man is true blue honestly the best mechanical contractor I have ever used....don't waste time with everyone don't use the big companies only small...I have enough money now to take my vacation thank you so much Jon Knight 205 210 7868 one call did save me money....

I just had to write about the best experience I had in my life about a plumber. I had a leak in my basement by my water heater and I called the local plumbing companies to come by for estimates. The estimates ranged from 2700.00 to this 4980.00 estimate wow I thought as I panicked I went to work and asked almost into tears for anyone to tell me who I could use. To my delightment my boss said why don't you use Jon Knight Plumbing he said we used them three times , free estimates, they work around your schedule, and the best prices in town. I said great as my boss let me leave early to call., I then called and spoke to Jon Knight the owner and he said he would come by immediately since this was a severe leak. Turns out that the leak was not a bad water heater as all of the other so called plumbing companies had said it was a Pressure Regulator Valve (PRV) that had failed causing the TMP (Relief Valve) on the water heater to leak his price to fix was the Best of all the others and I didn't have a water heater problem just a pressure problem., he fixed it no problem checked for anymore issues related to pressure the whole thing lasted 1-1/2 hrs and I was back to work. This is truly the best professional I have ever experienced.. way to go Jon Knight...

Mr Knight came to my house right away when I had a sewer back up. He came in my house and it was filled with sewer, he knew the problem right away and got right to work. He stayed and helped me clean the sewer mess and even recommend a clean up company to help as well. I couldn't ask fir a better plumber, he really cares for his customers

I called the Best Plumbing Company , Jon Knight Plumbing when my water heater went bad it flooded my basement, and caused a lot of damage.,he came out Jon Knight and installed the water heater a expansion tank and water pressure regulator for less than 1/2 of what all 12 other plumbing companies that I called wanted to charge he was done in about a hour, even helped me put things back in order after the flood he did not have to do that but he did. He will be the only one I call in the future no more big name companys with big name prices ever again. Jon Knight does it better and cheaper than anyone in Alabama he is even going down to my beach house for some more work I am going to be happy what ever he charges What a Great Man Wow............ call him you will be happy.

I am glad to serve the great friends of Birmingham, Alabama who need honest quality plumbing work in their home, quality and caring with exceptional prices should be standard but as with any trade especially plumbing techs often price too fast and too high without having proper training we at Jon Knight Plumbing enjoy keeping the bar high quality before quanity always..

I live in an older home. I needed a new gas water heater and was given an extremely high estimate by a "nationally known" plumbing company, well represented in the Metro Birmingham area. Not only was I shocked at the high price – but I was very skeptical about the work they said HAD to take place. I was told I needed this and that, this and that... it all added up to a very big estimate. I decided to call another plumbing company, Jon Knight Plumbing to look at my situation.



Jon came to my home himself, looked over the situation and gave me a much better price. He took time to explain everything he would do. Jon did exactly what he said he would do – and did so in a very professional, friendly and caring manner. By the way, all of that "extra stuff" wasn't required.



I'll sum it up – these reviews about Jon and his company are for real. He's a good fella and knows what he's doing. He works at a fair price and delivers excellent service. I would – without hesitation – recommend Jon Knight Plumbing to ANYONE.

I found Jon Knight Plumbing under Birmingham's Best Plumbing Co., after doing all the research possible and having to choose another plumber after each plumbing repair disaster I have finally found literally "The Best Plumber in Birmingham"

Jon Knight came out and did a through search for my problem and corrected all I mean all the mistakes from previous plumbing companys and at a price much lower than any of the other plumbing quotes that I had in the past like 1/2 how he does it he says with 25 years experience and a family owned company open for at least 70 years there is never a problem isolating and in a speedy manner so as to keep cost really low .I sent him also to my mothers house where he looked all over just to check everything out cleared 6 different drains and put on a faucet for less than 300.00

I haven't ever had a bill that low if he wasn't married I would set him up with my daughter I trust him that much. WOW WHAT A GOOD JOB HE DID, and I get a 30% off my next service call Please call Jon and he will fix it right the first time

I called and he came out Jon Knight and fixed my pressure problem it went from 15 to 75 now I can take a shower and I had called eleven companys beforehand I will never call anyone else again

I found Jon Knight in under the site best plumber in birmingham i looked at his site and felt that he was the right one for the job,.Being a sheriff for Vestavia police force i feel suspicious of everyone but right away Jon Mr.Knight relieved my suspicians of what i expected and i felt cost wise and work wise he undercharged me base on the other calls i had made in the past for plumbers doing the same work of course Jon is in a league by his self he must be he fixed the problem in under an hour, and i got back to work His work and his service is Truly the best in Birmingham

I am a stay at home mother of 3 and have had difficulty with the Plumbing companys i had used in the past , we my husband i tried Roto rooter and that ended up with a flooded house and alot of pointing fingers, and a trip to my attorney.,so then we tried Guinn plumbing and they came and charged me 1783.00 to install a toilet last time i will call them!, and it was a cheap 60 dollar toilet that i found out later put on crooked,then we used Johns plumbing out of Trussville which turned into alot of problems with no return calls and staying home waiting for them with no confirmation of time and when they did show up i found out later they wrapped duck tape around a main drain that they punched a hammer hole to clean my drain in my basement stinking up my house and i had to ask them to leave....Finally i called Jon Knight Plumbing Jon came out at a designated time clean,polite,and on time fixed all my problems from the recent companys and at a rate a price that was so low i cant see how he makes any money, he said he can even though he ahs the lowest rate in Birmingham because he can resolve and fix the problem so much quicker than and company due to his 26 years in business.Call Jon and tell him i said that he is the best saved me money time and headache Do not waste time with anybody else Jon is the best , also tell him i said as far as my family is concerned there is ONLY ONE

I had called and spoke with my neighbor regarding who their members use at their church for a plumber they could trust and they gave me the number to Jon Knight Plumbing.

Mr.Knight answered the phone and listened to everything that i had said about the problem i was having at my home and i ended the conversation with so tell me your schedule and when you can come by to look, and he said that i can set the schedule for when and what time he is needed to come out so i would not wait around all day like most plumbing companys like to do., and treat us like our time is not important..

So i did and he came out to a kitchen sink that would not drain i had roto rooter come out and they charged a thousand dollars to replace the drain under the sink and still did not fix the problem so after their 5 th trip to try and fix it i had to fire them and luckly i talked to Mr. Jon of Jon Knight Plumbing he came by and ran the line from the roof and the drain was fixed , he also said i needed to fix a small section where someone had poured draino in and it had rotted out which he showed me and how it was wrapped with duck tape .,oh how glad i am to finally have a professional company fix it.They have been in business for 26 years and fixed all my problems with ease with no problems and for 1/3 less cost than roto ripp off {roto-rooter} Call this man at 205-210-7868 if you want to save money and have a professional job and your problem get fixed.... Called Jon after not getting a return call from another plumber someone had recommended. I was stuck at work and explained i couldnt meet him. He went to my house, found the issue, and resolved it quickly. He called me throughout the process to make sure i knew exactly what was going on. The price was more than fair and I definitely know who to call first next time. Thanks again Jon.
