I have purchased several firearms from Hoover tactical throughout the years. However my latest visit was less than be desired. This is the only company that I have ever seen that has high standards on selling gift cards all the way down to the point of who you were buying the gift card for. The gift cards never expire however if the person that bought you the gift card gets aggravated and decides that they're mad they can take the receipt back to Hoover tactical without the gift card and will be refunded their money . After two days and almost 3 managers later I was told they couldn't do anything for me that the gift card had been spent but couldn't give me any details even though my name was on the gift card . They also did not offer any type of compensation for the headache that they caused due to their misunderstanding and miss handling of their gift card through their system . My latest purchase from them will be my last and I do not recommend anyone go to the store.

Not only is the store over priced but the service is horrible. Also, the employees knowledge on their merchandise is minimal. The majority of the stock in the store is low quality with a few select items that are worth paying the high cost. So, if you want beyond rude customer service, highly marked up low end products, and a staff with absolutely no knowledge on their merchandise then I would suggest going here. However, if you want good service, quality products, and good prices then try somewhere like Birmingham Pistol Wholesale.

Great variety of weapons, staff is experienced. The gun range is nice but over priced, and so is the ammo. I would rather go to an outdoor range, but if your willing to throw out some money for the experience of a nice indoor environment its not bad. If your looking at purchasing a weapon I would suggest stopping by to see what Hoover Tactical has first.

They have a great range, too bad they have a lot of jackasses behind the counter. Apparently their prices for everything in the place are not high enough already for them to make a profit - they require you t buiy their ammunition for the rifle range (which is bloated pricing as well).



Save yourself some stress - and some money - shoot at an outdoor range, and buy your ammunition down the road for consierably less. Less than a mile away you find WAY cheaper pricing.

Impressive facility. Too bad the owner is rude, obnoxious and condescending, especially to women.

Top quality firearms and accessories, huge selection, affordable prices, and amazing customer service. They helped me find everything I needed and the few products they didn't have in stock they ordered for me while I was still in the store.They even have a special firearms section strictly for law enforcement. Hoover Tactical is the only place I will go for my law enforcement tactical weapons needs!
