We were originally reserved to stay at the Chaffin’s sister property, Cobb Lane B&B, but when we arrived, Shelia gave us the option (at no additional costs) to upgrade to the wedding room at the Hassinger Daniels Mansion. Simply fantastic! Shelia is a terrific host with an incredible knowledge of Birmingham and general history as well. My history major wife enjoyed talking with her about the pictures and other historical artifacts all over the house! Breakfast was amazing as well as the conversations with Shelia and the other guests. Perfectly located to get around the north central Alabama area and to walk to fine dining (or more affordable options) in the evening.
