Misdiagnosed my dog. Had asked for thyroid testing, it was never done. He took the easy way out and blamed everything on allergies. Took him to another vet--thyroid testing done and dog did have thyroid issues. Dr. Ryer's staff is very condescending and unprofessional.

Dr Ryer is the most compassionate and best vet I have ever been to. He worked with me with my Dog who was sick for years. When she did finally pass, she was at his office and it was a weekend. He went in to check on her at night and called us to tell us we may want to come down. He gave us as long as we needed with her even though his office was closed and let us be there as he let her sleep. Even my dog loved going to the vet with him there. Thumbs way UP for Dr. Ryer!

I am very happy with my choice in this Dr. He is caring he actually cares about the animals. That is refreshing. He has very competent staff and they are very helpful and friendly! He does a very thorough job. Almost overdoes the work. And knows what he is talking about. And I can talk to him about anything without feeling like a dummy.
