I have eaten both here and at the location in Ocean Springs. The food is good in both and the atmosphere is great. The portions are large and the waitstaff is great.

For the area if you crave Italian food this is the place to go. Large portions and a very good quality of food. The staff was friendly and attentive. Until Olive Garden or Carbarra's come to town, this is the place to go.

We went to Al Fresco's in BIloxi with a small group of friends and were very dissatisfied. We got there at 6:10 pm----were greeted and seated promptly and had our drink order taken in a very timely manner. It went downhill from there. Now during our wait for orders to be taken----at least three or four tables have been seated (1 a party of 10 or so) and they have been served---we are still waiting. Between 7:15 and 7:30 pm the waiter finally decided to begin taking our orders---in the mean time, several of our group had to ask for bread and drink refills. Our meals finally came and the food looked really pretty---some were happy with the taste, but others were disappointed. Again, we had to request refills and bread---the waiter did not check on us and bring them because he saw that we were out. After our meals were completed we again sat and waited (and waited) for our checks. Finally two of the men went to the front desk and told the girls there that we wanted our checks right away--we were ready to go. 9:05 pm we are heading to our car. I really think that three hours is a bit much for having a meal in a restaurant----even a normal leisurely mean would only take about an hour and a half, if that long. It was not an experience we care to repeat, and we do recommend that if you go, you take a comfortable cushion to sit on because that is what you will be doing most of the time.
