I also contacted this company about getting an estimate for having lawn care for my home. I hate contacting businesses and all i get is a voicemail or answering machine so I was very pleasantly surprised when an actual person picked up the phone. The lady who answered my call was very pleasant but was unable to do any bidding or estimating. She said that she would pass my information over to the office manager and that either that person or the owner would get back to me right away. We now two days later and there has been no contact from them. Great initial service by answering the phone right away but no follow up call seems to indicate that they are not interested in my business

I had the same experience with this company...very unreliable, never returned calls. I had to call them back several times to fix a leak in my drip system and fix the sprinklers that were not covering the area... they charged me each time they had to come out and fix THEIR screw ups!! Once my bill was paid in full I called them once again to fix the drip system and sprinklers that were still not fixed and I never heard back from them after leaving messages! I will cut my losses and not call them again... live and learn i guess... I wont pay my bill until i am sure the job is done right!!!

I hired this group in 2010 to landscape my front yard and boulevards. A plan was drawn up, including the plants which would be used. Not being familar with gardening, I agreed to the plants that were suggested. In addition, sod would replace the awful lawn. I was assured that a one-year warranty would be included in the final price. I asked specifically that the soil be amended and improved prior to laying the sod. I was assured that this was a part of their service. Soon after there were planted (and naturally after I'd paid in full), some plants developed mildew. After repeated calls, the owner finally called back. She then came over and said to "give the plants a year". Subsequently 7 plants died and my calls to the owner have never been returned, or emails answered. Several more plants were set in deep shade under a huge pine tree. The plants have grown very little since 2010, and after consulting with a master gardener, I was told that these plants were not shade plants, but instead required full day sun. Most disappointing is the condition of the sod. The first year (2010) the grass looked and acted healthy. In 2011 large brown spots began to appear despite regular watering, fertilizing, power-raking and aeration. This year (2012) much of the grass has died or is dying. There are large bare spots, and sparse grass in the rest of the lawn. I contacted the County Extension office where I was told that it was the result of not improving the soil prior to the sod being placed. I've had the soil tested by a reputable lab ($54), and was told that the soil is in very poor condition and appears not to have been amended at all. I was also told that the only option is to remove all of the sod, amend and improve the soil, and either replace the sod, or seed the lawn. I spent approximately $15,000 for the "landscaping" that was done in 2010. Now I'm left with a lawn that is in the same condition it was "landscaped" by "Outdoor Expressions". I'm heartsick, angry and so disappointed. I saved for several years to have this work done and I can't afford to start amending and replacing the lawn again, even if I were to do it myself. My yard looks awful. I believe I was taken for a ride as well as taken advantage of. I would not recommend this group to my worst enemy.
