The first time my mom called the lady was very nice and pleasant to her. The owner came to moms house and fixed her toilet and also made the handle easier for her to use. Even though he had to run and get an extra part he didn't charge her...she felt so relieved and grateful she didn't want him to go without something so she had him pick out one of her hand made crocheted doilies for his wife. Mom called me right away to tell me how great they were to her, and how exceptionally nice ALL of them were. But that's not all.... Mom called again this morning and said she saw the Mr. Rooter truck a couple of houses down and she actually "flagged him down" when he was leaving; she asked if he could tighten up her toilet seat as she couldn't get it tight. The kind gentleman tightened her seat and didn't even charge her for this unexpected service. Because of their excellent service my Mom has recommended them to her neighbors and friends...I have recommended them to family, friends and neighbors and my daughter will as well. you don't see this kind of service and compassion anymore, and it's very refreshing. I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone needing a plumber!

First off the girl that answers the phone is rude!!!! If I could give her 0 stars I would. I gave them 3 stars just because of her and the situation we got into because of her, but Ryan, the plumber, was nice and got the job done and fast. This was our first time calling a plumber, so I went online to check out reviews. There wasn't any for Mr. Rooter but I have heard of them before and there wasnt any good reviews on any other plumbers, so I decided to go with them. When Ryan got to the house he explained to us what might be wrong and how he could fix it. After explaining it, he told us the price of $235, but we were quoted $150 by the girl (who calls her self the manager) when we called. So we decided that we could do the work ourselves, then the plumber tells us its $120 just for him to come out. We were never told this! Also on Mr. Rooter's description, it says they will come out and give free estimats before ANY work is done, so how is $120 free?? We decided to just let the plumber do the work because we would rather pay him to actually do some work then to just tallk. So I called the company back to let the girl know they should let customers know that they will charge $120 just to come out and take a look and the rate they quoted over the phone was wrong, also about how their website says free estimats on the work and she explained that was only for big jobs like putting in a whole new bathroom, and thats fine but it should say that. She was rude and wouldn't talk to me because I wasn't the owner of the house (I live at my friends house and my friends are the owners that also live there), but I was the one paying for the service, so I asked if there was a manager there, she said she was the manger. So I had the owner of the house call, who was standing right next to me and was just as mad as I was about the price and service fee, she told him that she was sorry she didnt tell him about the service fee and kept saying "I dont know what you want me to do about it" , then said "im not going to argue with you" and HUNG UP on the owner of the house!! SOME "MANAGER"!!!! At the end of the day, Ryan the plumber, was nice and got the job done, and talked to the owner and we were taken care of for the situation that happened with "manager"
