I was pregnant and made appointment for a simple checkup next thing I know they started doing all this unnecessary work they had to redo work because the dentist were too busy gossiping about pay,how the turn over rate was high, gossiping about how they don't like co-workers while working on my teeth it was extremely rude and unprofessional they also tired to pressure me into getting a wisdom tooth pulled when I declined they lied and said I was a no call no show in an appointment because they were being money hungry trying to use Medicaid for every little thing they could!

The desk staff are wonderful and probably other dentists in the practice, however I ended up with a gal named Dr. Bollinger. Avoid her at all cost as she has THE worst bedside manner (so to speak). She is loud, rushed, rude, and constantly tells you that you are wrong with your dental care. They put me out months for dental appts always blaming the influx of "being the only medicaid provider now in Yellowstone County" which is a flat out lie. if you have medicaid go to Dr. Prill. They are professional and they do take medicaid and do not push private pay insured people out of the picture. AVOID LAMPLIGHTER DENTAL IF YOU ARE SET TO SEE BOLLINGER!!!

EXCELLENT! FRIENDLY! Best in the area!

My personal experience with Lamplighter Dental has been Excellent. They are very friendly, and are very concerned over a persons dental care and needs. Their honesty and dental knowledge are top of the line. They are truly a caring establishment for dental care.

Great with kids

I took my 4 year old here after a bad experience with another dentist. They were great at keeping the experience fun and tear free. Highly recommend.

Poor Communication from Dentist

The dentist at LL made me a partial to replace the one I had previously from another dental office. What he didn't tell me was that he was going to drill holes in the back of my porcelain crowns that costs thousands of dollars at my previous dentist! (My previous dentist did not drill holes for the partial I received from him so I wasn't expecting this!) I have Sjogren's syndrome which causes severe dry mouth and cannot wear the partial he made for me due to this, plus one of the holes that he drilled is getting larger and I have a continuous sore in my mouth on one side where he drilled. I mentioned this to the office and nothing ever came of it. Also, you will feel as if you're on an assembly line when you go there...but that is really insignificant compared to the damage he did to my crowns.

Unacceptable

Over a month ago I was told that I was set up with an oral surgeon to get my wisdom teeth out. When I showed up for my appointment, the surgeon's office had no idea about the appointment! Turns out, the receptionist at Lamplighter Dental didn't actually get the visit scheduled like she said she would. Considering that I had to take time off of work and my mother had to as well so she could watch my daughter... I am more than angry! I would tell anyone to think twice about using this dental office. If people cannot follow through with what they say they will do, they should not be doing that job!
