CBM Carpet Cleaning

We have used Duane and his team to clean our home carpets for at least 7 years. Once, in an emergency, they helped clean up wet carpet from a backed up basement floor drain and left fans here for a week to fully dry things out. Other times they've just done the high traffic areas in our bedrooms, living room, and stairs to clean and freshen up the carpeting. In all cases, they have been prompt to respond to our needs, timely in the performance of the work, careful to handle their tools so as to not damage furniture or walls, and the carpeting was fresh and clean when they were done!

Obviously (and gratefully) we managed to avoid any bad experiences with the receptionist mentioned in another review. But the actual workers area great!

We used CBM to clean our business and residence 2 years ago. When I called to schedule a cleaning today, they woman very exceptionally rude. She said she couldn't find the business cleaning under my name or address but could find the residence. When she read the details of the residence cleaning to me, I informed her that it seemed that the technician had lumped the two together. She refused to tell me what the total was that I had previously paid and when I told her not to bother looking up the amount and calling me back because her attitude made me not want to use them, she simply hung up. No 'I'm sorry we could't help you" or anything. I tried calling back from the same number and she wouldn't answer. I called right back with my cell phone and she answered. I asked for her owner/manager and she said he was on vacation. When I asked her if that is why she felt that she could hang up on customers, she retorted "Well, you just told me you weren't going to use us so what else was I supposed to do?" Really? The owner needs to take a serious look at this employee and what she feels she can get away with when he is not right there supervising. We will NEVER use CBM and will let people know of our experience from now on.
