B B Burner Service

had our burner cleaned on Mon. and by Sat we had a full blown blow out of the burner, no heat & the red light flashing. Soot everywhere. When called BB Burner/Dale on Sat morn he said he was sick and we asked if he had a back up to come look at it but he said that his back up had gone up North. He said to call the oil delivery co as he claimed the oil was the cause. we then got profl oil burner tech & lucky enough to get him that day. I watched him take apart the entire unit covered in fine soot. Filled up a full vac bag. After 4 hrs of cleaning, testing it for very high carbon monoxide output we were told that the service from BB Burner was less than safe, and not by code. BB did not replace the stack screws creating an oppty for a blow off of the stack if the burner fired up too hard. I will not use BB Burner again-never!. paid $130 & had to repay over $200 to get repair done within same wk. Now must hire a chimney sweep to clean the soot. Maine should require licenses..
