Untrustworthy, Unethical, Rude, and Inconsiderate along with money hungry are the words which often come to mind in describing this attorney. I have known this attorney to lie straight to Magistrate’s and judge's faces, Harass her opposing attorney's clients, and tell her clients to perform acts in which she knew they would be breaking the law by doing so. Her attitude matches her appearance; in most cases (inappropriate).

She has been reported to the bar several times for conduct unbecoming.

A very unethical and down right ugly attorney. She was so nice in the consult but as time progressed on she became more and more controlling and demanding. Then when I did not get any of the things that she promised originally she had the gall to blame me for it then she told me she was not going to represent me any more. A complete waiste of money and time the only thing she did right was draw up my custody agreement. Please if you are thinking about hiring Melissa find someone else. She came highly recommended by a friend needless to say we are no longer friends any more.

When I began my divorce I hired Melissa Rudas. She was really bossy and made me feel dumb but if i got full custody of my daughter and child support I was ok with it. By the end of the divorce she cost me full custody of my daughter and now i pay my ex husband child support. If you want to spend $10,000 and end up in a worse position then hire Melissa. If you want actual results look else where.

Melissa Rudas is an outstanding Attorney , she helped me significantly and was always there to answer questions. She isn't money hungry because she helped me out knowing I was a single mother of 2. Several of my friends used Melissa and got great results also. Melissa even called me back at 9pm at night after office hours to me it says she is a loyal attorney. I never had to worry about anything but signing papers , my custody / divorce went to trial and I won my case and she NEVER asked me to lie. I was with her for 2 years because we had a fight on our hands with custody. Melissa even let me finishing paying her 6 months after my case was closed. To all of you negative people you must have been on the other side because you definitely were not a client....

Couldn't agree more with the negative comments. A "train wreck" is an apt description for this woman who calls herself an attorney. Court documents are incomplete or not completed properly. Pays no attention to her clients. Extremely rude. When blatant errors were pointed out to her on an Answer to a Complaint, assuming a secretary or paralegal made the mistakes, her response was, "Get out of my face, I do my own work!" In short, the errors were hers, not a low paid secretary. Stay away.

Best lawyer you can get. Doesn't lose. According to the lawyers creed They can not lie and also if they know the culprit is quilty they tell the DA or whoever. Don't any of you know the law and watch law and order. She would be disbarred if did what these people accuse her of. If you are innocent and want to win hire this woman, she is the best

I couldn't agree more with with the truthful negative comments that are posted. Professionally she is a train wreck, using any unethical power and squeezing favors from like minded cronies is a nightmare dealing with her. Socially she is simply the lowest form of crude. I shudder to think she has any part to what we call our justice system.

Well now...., reading the last post I would have to say that it makes her an excellent lawyer to be a great insensitve liar ! It's usually the best liar that wins the case. So I am definitely going to hire her ! Thanks for the insight, most people look for a spin doctor not a lawyer that plays by the rules. Hey Melissa, you did great work for my ex wife and she thought you were awesome. The last post does not really know what makes a great lawyer..........

Just another FYI...The 'secretary spoken of' quit. Lets just leave it there.

Just as an FYI the secretary that was spoken of in the latter post is no longer working for Attorney Rudas. To the newer post, I have to wonder if you were an actual client of hers or if you were on the other side! You sound very bitter and if you have ALL this PROOF and still lost, it does not say much for your attorney! Melissa is a great lawyer who always puts her clients first and will fight for you! She is my custody/support attorney and she is absolutely amazing in the courtroom! You can not get anything past her and she will call your bluff, which is why you see nasty posts like the newest one! Rest assured that if you are looking for a cut throat attorney who actually cares about her clients and not the money(considering she works with most of her clients who can not afford the whole fee at one time) Attorney Rudas is the lawyer you want on your side!! Highly recommended by her clients and by other Attorneys!! Do some research before you believe all the lies!!!!!

Very rude and condescending- secretary ststes attorney in conference and when you tell her Melissa called you last night and you are still speaking the secretary cuts yiu off and talks to you like you are a child. Then Melissa calls you and tries to start a fight-when you are already in turmoil over getting a divorce.
