I recieved a three year run around from this legal aid. The attorney never answered his phone, never kept his appointments and the courts kept throwing out the petitions because they were incorrectly filed. The interest here has not been to help me but to keep my file laying around on a desk to make it look like the attorney is doing something. There are probably very competent lawyers here but I just happened to not get one assigned to me.

There is no such organization as Lehigh Valley Legal Services. Maybe there once was, I don't know, but there isn't anymore. This is North Penn Legal Services (NPLS) - and my guess is that they aren't bothering to correct the listing for the mere greed & convenience of being able to advertise in two different spots. I can tell you one thing - they DON'T handle estates, wills or custody matters. I was told this over the phone by an extremely rude & unprofessional woman who, when I asked for a referral to someone in the area who might, kept repeating this fact over and over again like a robot, without caring to actually LISTEN to my question. When she finally realized what I had politely asked, she responded "I don't know who does, but I can tell you we do not". Overkill on that point. So terribly sorry I ever bothered calling them at all. Stay away if you can, they could
