The Lehigh Valley Academy is a nonprofit charter school that provides a variety of educational opportunities to students in kindergarten through grade nine. The academy has an enrollment of more than 500 students. Its curriculum includes communication, critical thinking and language arts. The Lehigh Valley Academy also offers diploma programs in humanities, technology, social studies, computer science, math and physical education. The academy maintains a library media center and various computer laboratories. It organizes several fundraising activities, as well as offers health care and transportation services. The Lehigh Valley Academy conducts parent-teacher conferences that encourage parental involvement in children s education.
