I have been eating at Dave's Deli for nearly 20 years. The sandwiches are wonderful...meat is abundant and fresh. Soups are amazing. Gelato is to die for. I must say, though, the GIRLS at the counter are the reason I keep going back. In this economy-it is hard to justify $8.00 for a sandwich and a pickle, but the girls are terrific. They are friendly and fast! Dave is not overly friendly....I wish he would smile a bit more.

Beats subway or quiznos thats for sure. Love all of their sandwiches for the most part but usually go with a Paula's Favorite. This is how lunch meat is supposed to be done, perfect for a quick lunch, or to grab to go and walk up the hill at Lehigh University, and eat on the grass or at a picnic table.

The personalized service and the fact they make it with all fresh ingredients at the time you order it makes it one of, if not the best deli I've ever been to. To have a dessert like homemade gelato after the sandwich makes it all that much better. You will not be disappointed with going to Dave's!!
