The Colonial Regional Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that operates a multijurisdictional task force to eliminate drugs and their influences in Northampton County, Pa. It also has detective units that provide investigation services. The department has a staff of detectives, bike patrol officers, accident investigators, instructors and compliance inspectors. The Colonial Regional Police Department is operated by the Colonial Regional Police Commission. In partnership with the Citizen s Police Academy, it provides information on police history, legal issues, judicial system and crime scene processing.
