I just sold one home and bought another... with a family of 5 kids, a St. Bernard, my wife, and me. To say we have a lot of stuff would be a gross understatement. We clearly needed help and I looked up Lehigh Valley movers. I did as much research as I could and got estimates from several companies. I also got recommendations from friends and family... and another moving company!

One of the companies I called for an estimate was booked on the day of our move, so they recommended Adam Meyer. To me, it says a lot when your peers in any given industry are willing to put their own reputations on the line by recommending you to a customer. Our realtor told us they were the best and our neighbors said the same thing.

Rod Pursell, the President of the company, showed up to give us our estimate! He was extremely friendly and open about everything, very easy-going and thorough with his walk-through. When we sat down, he talked a little about the company, which had been started by his great-grandfather. We could easily tell that Adam Meyer Moving & Storage meant the world to Rod and doing a good job was a source of personal pride.

He gave us a fair quote, which we immediately accepted. On the day of the move, Rod was one of the four-person crew who showed up to move our belongings. He got right in there with the others, moving the heaviest of our belongings (including a piano). The whole crew really did a fantastic job. They protected our belongings with hundreds of thick pads during the move, laid red carpets on the floors to protect them too, and covered the doors and banisters with thick pads to keep them safe from nicks or gouges.

I would strongly recommend Rod and his crew at Adam Meyer, whether it's a local move or a long distance move. Aside from all their professionalism and hard work, the icing on the cake was the bill...... several hundred dollars LESS than the estimate!

This company is, by far, the greatest. I had called for an estimate, and was told it would be about a month before someone could come out. I asked to hold the date I needed to move, but was explained that they work on a first come first serve basis, which I think is very fair. When the estimator, Bob, came out and gave me my estimate, I immediately accepted it. Bob called to the office and scheduled my move right there on the spot. The gentleman and lady that came out to do my move were wonderful. They were very knowledgeable and really knew what they were doing. Overall, I could not be happier with my experience.

Showed up with 4 guys and 2 trucks. One of the guys did not speak English. They did not move all of my stuff as they ran out of room. The did damage to walls of our new home and we were told someone would be back to fix but no one has ever contacted us to date. They also went an hour and half over their estimate which I believe was due to the inexperience of their two extra guys. The one that did not speak English (and put laundry room labeled boxes in our bedrooms) and the younger guy maybe 18. Should of used Obriens for the same price quoted.

Was the greatest moving company on our last move so we opted to use them again 5 years later. We booked an estimate as soon as we went under contract for our house and we told them our move out date and they assured us that they would hold it. because it was almost a month and a half before they could do the estimate, so we agreed. When Adam came to do the estimate the price was fair but he told us the moving date had already been filled by someone else, and he couldn't move us for another three weeks after that. He recommended another moving company that was almost twice the price because our move out was so close. At this point it makes more economical sense to sell our belongings and start again because of the cost of the mover he referred. We are now beside ourselves to part with our family furniture and belongings or accept the fact that we have to start over again because we trusted Adam Meyer. Stay away from these people at any cost!!!

This is the greatest moving company I have ever encountered. They were courteous, efficient, and professional. I would definitely move with them again and recommend them to all of my friends and family.
