I have been going to the Great Clips Barrow Crossing location since I moved here, which was at the same time it opened. I had always previously gone to a salon, but since I was new to the area, I just needed a cut. The cut and style was amazing and made me a repeat customer. Then one day when I needed a cut, I tried a different stylist because my regular was off. That was a mistake. She was rude and the cut was awful. Turned out she was the manager. My regular transferred to the Winder location, and Angel has cut my hair ever since. I've been happy. I'll never go back after today though. I've used the online appointment feature in the past. Today I needed an appointment, but they have changed the feature to a "check-in" feature. Well I tried it, and there was a 72 minute wait. I thought that's fine. I'll grab a bite to eat and then head over there. When I got there, the door was locked. And the staff all looked at me and stared as I tried to gain entry. Then I noticed the sign on the door stated they were closing early for the holiday. Finally a staff member realized I was not walking away and came to the door. I told her I checked in online and she told me that I needed to be in the store before closing. I told her the hours weren't adjust online. And by the way it was 5:20, and they were still cutting hair. Long story short, I wasn't allowed to come in and get a hair cut. After checking the online check in feature again when I left, it showed most all locations "Closed" but I could still check in to the Barrow Xing location with a 23 minute wait. Really nice. Someone messed up and now I'll be without a haircut because I'm sure no one is open tomorrow. But I'll never return to this location again even after years of satisfactory service. The staff was not sincerely apologetic and took no accountability. I was blamed as the customer for not being at the store before they closed. Very disappointing. I am appalled at the treatment I received. And since only one stylist could ever cut my hair as requested, I won't be missing much I guess.

Very impersonal people working there. Stylists smokers breath was turn off!
She smelled so bad, I had to hold my breath at times.
And, she was so fat her belly rolls kept rolling onto my arms
on the arm rests. Total gross out, and will never return.
