I've been here 3 times now, twice for my small pom, once for my large pom. We saw Dr Bishop & really appreciated the time he took to explain everything our pets needed to get better. We were very happy until our large pom started having side effects that were awful!!!

These started almost 2 weeks after he was started on VetMed which was supposed to help with his enlarged heart, not have him reacting so crazily his heart could stop working due to all the hyperventilating, shaking & panic attacks that had him so crazy he couldn't rest or sleep. He also had extreme thirst & eyes that looked ready to pop out.

We called the office & were told to bring him in, but the roads were too icy to do so & still are. I was also very surprised Dr Bishop did not call to check on him, but in all fairness, Dr Bishop may still be out of the office so all we could do was take him off the med. The nasty side effects stopped & our poor dog is finally sleeping!

I revised my original review from 5 stars down to 4 stars. I believe in being 100% honest when I write a review so if I hear from Dr Bishop, I will review this again so it is fair to both Dr Bishop & our dog. However, I will not give him another dose of VetMed after he had such bad reactions to it, he is 14 yrs old so he did not need side effects that were making him crazy.
