Incredible!! Wonderful place for the entire family, we have grown so much last years. Not because their performance as a church but because of the love of Christ in the people who run the church and attends. Nothings perfect in this world but you can rest assure the body will do everything they can to make it a excellent place.

A place to find who Jesus really is & why you are here

I have been looking for a church like this my whole adult life! Aside from meeting the needs of every age group, they also cater to both traditional and contemporary music and service styles - something for everyone! They are solidly Biblically based in their teaching and preaching and they make prayer a priority. It is truly Church as God intended it to be - a place to be inspired and challanged, to learn about who Jesus really is and what your purpose in life is. There are numerous opportunities to get involved - be a part and serve others - all in a loving community.

You will never be the same - life becomes really exciting and meaningful! For me - it is worth the 1/2 drive from NY to attend!

You have to come and check it out for yourself! You won't be disappointed!

A Cool Place to Check Out!

If you're looking for an open, accepting, cool place to worship then check out Walnut Hill. The concept of "church" was always a bit intimidating until I walked in the doors of Walnut Hill. The encouragement and love of the messages as well as the programs offered quickly made it a joy to attend. Did I mention the great music?!?!? There is staff available to help though not at all overwhelming if you tend to keep to yourself. The childrens program is beautiful (while keeping our kids safe with security procedures!) and they even provide a Special Forces ministry for families of children with special needs. What I love the most about Walnut Hill is their want to reach out to not only their members but the community and world! Not with "preaching" but with love and by example... That to me it pretty impressive. I love action and this is an action church! As a place to worship or curious with questions to explore then I think this is a wonderful place to start!

Dedicated to the Danbury area

Walnut Hill Community Church is dedicated to serving the Danbury area. We serve a diverse group of people with services on Saturday night, 3 on Sunday morning, and one Sunday evening geared for young adults of all ages. The first service on Sunday morning is a traditional service with communion. Our church's DNA is Praying, Living, Giving, & Loving that is incorporated & communicated into all aspects of community life. The children's program is fantastic - they even have their own worship center. When we first attended my daughter was in 2nd grade - she came out of Sunday School saying - 'Can we come back to this church again? Sunday School was awesome!' Nursery care is from newborn to Kindergarten. The youth program has 2 programs - one for middle schoolers 7th & 8th grades and one for high schoolers. While our attendance is rather large for a church in New England , we manage to keep church small with Community Groups from each town represented by the congregation. Come join us for a service & be blessed.

Very traditional, religious group

If you want a very traditional, religious environment this church is for you. If you want a free worship experience go elsewhere. Also, music ministry upside down with no leader.
