Since Zaxby's came to Birmingham several years ago I have chose Zaxby's and have thought it was definitely the best chicken restaurant out of all of the rest including the classics like Chick-fil-A and KFC. Well my husband still refused to change from our original "chicken place" but about three months ago on a Sunday night his regular chicken place was closed and I had a craving for my usual Chicken Club on Texas Toast plate from Zaxby's and my husband decided to have the same and give it a try. Well, I can honestly say if there was such a thing which I believe there is; my husband now has an addition to Zaxby's because he literally eats their EVERY SINGLE NIGHT SINCE THAT NIGHT!!! That is the honest to goodness truth!! So if that tells you anything about this restaurant, the reason he gives as well as myself is the lack of greasiness - we have never had a bad meal from there and my explanation of "gross chicken" is greasy, nothing but breading/no meat, and the quality/taste of the meat(tenderness, color, moist) and my husband and I both agree that this is DEFINITELY THE BEST CHICKEN RESTAURANT IN TOWN IF NOT THE U.S.!! Thanks Zaxby's!! for not making us have to go to two different places to get chicken now ;-) You're the best!!
