Absolutely the best barbecue in the area. Anybody who says otherwise hasn't eaten it! Ribs are AWESOME! Sauce is AWESOME! Staff is friendly and courteous. Absolutely worth the price. Eat here early and often, you won't be sorry.

I was really excited to try this place, but was so disappointed. I must say, though, on the positive side, the staff was so friendly and very helpful, and the sauce was quite tasty. That's however, where the good stuff ends. The meat tastes like what you'd make at home in a crock pot - no flavor at all unless doused in sauce. Also, they are very pricey - well above the average for the area. A pound of shredded pork was $15.99+tax, whereas the area average is $11.99+tax for the same amount, although they did include 4 buns, which we didn't use anyway, but that still does not account for an extra $4.00. I was disappointed to see that the pit from the BBQ restaurant formerly in the same location is completely gone, which really makes me wonder if they are cooking in a crock pot. It is definitely worth the drive on into Bessemer to Bob Sykes or into Hoover to Zeke's. I really wanted to like this place, but just cannot say I will return.
