Do NOT Take your animal here!!!

I took my 15 yr. old cat here against my better judgement because he needed to be seen asap and I couldnt get another appt. right away any where else close to my house. BIG MISTAKE. He had a bleeding soar on the side of his mouth, and I also noticed he lost a tooth and it was hard for him to eat, as he was also losing weight. First of all this guy looked like he should have retired 10 years ago, and he quickly proved it by the way he treated my elderly cat! My cat was a little hesitant in coming out of his cage as I almost had him out and the doctor said "Here, this sometime works", and grabbed the cage and tilted it almost upside down to spill him out! He still didnt come out. He just got more scared and stressed. So I finally talked my cat out by myself, only 30 seconds later. My cat also had a few lumps near his throat, which the doctor told me what I had suspected, was a few tumors. I asked him how long he thinks the cat would survive with them and his reply was " Its only a matter of time" and nothing else, in front of my son, whos grew up with the cat, I might add!He said the cat weighed 6 lbs. and needed to gain weight, but did not even check to see if he was dehidrated or listen to his heart. He just sold us 2 cans of cat food rich in protein, prescribed the antibiotic medicine for his soar, and walked out. Then receptionist walked in with the bill and walked us up front. We wanted to speak with the doctor again and he was nowhere to be found.I should have walked out right when he turned my cats cage upside down, but instead I waited $78.00 later!Do yourself a favor! Take your precious animal somewhere else!!! Cat lover.

comfortable setting

I was new to the area and needed a new place to take my dog. I stopped in and was very impressed with the service, and information I was given when I stopped in last week for my first of many future visits. Thanks
