Provided by YP.comWife admitted with GE symptoms. No tests. ER doctor said E Coli. Said anti-biotics inappropriate. Rec-
ommended overnite. Hospital GE told of ER MDs remark. Didn't care. Prescribed anti-biotic. Other than blood work, no tests just guesses. Recommended another overnite. Took stool sample and released her with prescription for continuing anti-biotic. Got home, received troubled call from hospitalist MD. Results of stool sample analysis: Clostridium-difficile(look it up) " This is the hospital's responsibility." (direct quote) " Stop taking the anti biotic immediately. I'm phoning in a new prescription , Vancomycin.(look it up) Take for ten days and get a new stool sample analysis." Received a bill for all of the above. Objected. Got a runaround. Pursuing it elsewhere.
