I was incredibly fortunate recently to have Valerie take my case. I was facing many serious felonies and misdemeanors with prison time to boot. Valerie not only took the time to work incredibly hard on my case, but she genuinely cared about helping me out as a person as well. She managed to get my 8 charges down to 2 charges as well as no prison time. She also showed the other side all the hard work I was doing, greatly to my benefit. She even managed to get some confiscated money back to me which is "unheard of" This woman is what all lawyers should be. Valerie is extremely good at what she does. Mr. Flaherty is only concerned with money. His representation is directly related to how much the case would be "worth". Yet when you get to court, he is flacid. He doesnt have much to say, he just stands there with his head down. He has a reputation for telling his clients to "plead" so he wont have a court trial. And like a Prosecutor, he believes his clients to be GUILTY unless proven innocent. I would award Mr. Flaherty a One star Minus minus if that were an option here. I would give him 6 stars in the Dishonorable field.

Patrick told me himself that there were 2 reasons why he didn't have my case investigated to prove my innocense. #1 was that he was court appointed and he wasn't getting paid enough to get the evidence. #2 was that he didn't like my husband. I ended up taking a plea deal as this infomation was not conveyed to me until 3 days prior to trail and I didn't have the resources to get the evidence myself on such short notice.
