they were very friendly and helpful, and had a very good selection. the prices of all the stuff i looked at was right inline with the prices on the internet. i purchased a pa system from them, came back the next day because the brand new powered mixer wasn't working properly. Bryan was very nice about it, asked if i wanted a replacement, something else, my money back. i upgraded my purchase, he gave me a phat discount for the inconvenience..... i was very happy when i left the store

I don't feel the low ratings for Bryan's House of Music is deserved. We found this locally independent music shop is more than helpful and their knowledge base for music is fantastic. In short they know music and musical instruments. We went recently, 11/2013, to look for a better guitar for our granddaughter. The lady, Donna I believe, the first time we visited was very friendly and spent time with my wife and I to explain what makes for a good guitar. She showed us several brands but we focused in on the Guild Guitar now made by Fender. Since neither my wife or I know how to play guitar Bryan was willing to play each guitar we were interested in. The second visit was made with our granddaughter. Bryan and Donna do not generally work on Sundays but their daughter was there and brought out several Guild Guitars for our granddaughter to try. Our granddaughter zeroed in on one of the guitars but we also wanted her guitar teacher to also come and check the guitars out. We came back with the teacher the next day when Bryan was there. We again talked guitars and they were very nice and patient with us, hauling out most of the Guid Guitars in stock. Our granddaughter and teacher both tried each guitar out and again Bryan and Donna were pleasant and willing to answer all our questions. We bought the Guild Guitar that our granddaughter wanted and she walked out with a smile on her face and very proud of the choice she made.

This is a locally owed music shop that is well stocked and committed to the local area. From Bryan and Donna you get professional help and advice but they allow you to be the one to make your own mind up even if it takes coming back multiple times. We would recommend Bryan's House Of Music to anyone!
