Visited this salon on the recommendation of a coworker. I won't be coming back. The application of shellac was different than anything I had ever experienced. The shellac didn't dry properly. I had fine cracks on all my nails within one day. The shellac didn't last long. I saw the guy pour the nail solution I had been soaking my hands in back into a jug. IS that cool?

Went to NY nails in the Bemidji Mall on a whim. (I live in the cities and needed a quick fill.) Walked in, asked if they could do it (as all the other nail salons were closed on Sat) and they said YES and sat me down right away. The guys were super friendly and funny! They made me laugh the whole time and made my experience really comfortable! It was a Saturday morning and customers were flooding in! They did a great job with my fill and I was thrilled they were able to squeeze me it! Great job!

This place is HORRIBLE!!! I wouldn't even go back if someone gave me a gift certificate. My friend and I went because she had never had shellac done before. They were mad because I already had shellac on that had to be removed...hello I had to pay for the removal!!! They charge extra for EVERYTHING!!! The lady was VERY rude!!! She told my friend that she was easy and I was difficult! I told my friend when she was being rude that I should have just had my nails done at my normal place out of town, and the lady said...yes you should have! Then she attempted to do nail art on my finger and it looked like a big blob so I told her I didn't like it. She scrubbed it off and told me she didn't have time for me and that she was done with me and going home!!! I told the owner he didn't care of course because this was his wife. I love to share good and bad reviews so customers know what to expect. I would NEVER go back to this place again. My nails looked ok for about 5 days and they already started cracking. Shellac should easily last two weeks.

I love taking my daughter for mommy-n-me days to get a pedicure. I've tried other places but their work just doesn't last like NY Nails. We love playing with the massage chairs too! We are going to try manicures next time
