Three Studies of Mind-Body Development: Study of Principles, Study of Practice, and Study of Living Principles. The principles of energy transform a basic stretch into a yoga posture. Practice: The principles aren't learned through intellectual knowledge, but through the body. If a person practices with honesty and diligence, then they will experience the benefits in body, mind, and spirit. Living: If the principles of yoga are practiced only in the center, a person will never master them. Practice naturally spills over into everyday life.

Beltsville Body and Brain Yoga and Tai Chi classes have greatly helped me reduce stress and my reactions to it. In addition, the classes, with my medication and proper diet, help to reduce and stabilize my blood sugar levels. I am now also working on positions that help to reduce pain from arthritis in my knees. These classes are great! D.D.
