Belmont Middle School is a part of the Shaker Regional School District and enrolls more than 480 students in grades five through eight. It offers a language arts program and an accelerated reading program with more than 1,245 titles in the program. The school has a guidance and counseling center to address friendship skills, anger management and conflict resolution. Its library media center program aims to help each student to achieve their personal success by teaching and modeling the necessary skills as outlined in the American Library Association's information power standards and provides a diverse collection of resources in a variety of formats. The school additionally offers various sport programs, extracurricular activities and clubs. It has a parent-teacher organization and also offers meal and transportation services. It is located in Belmont, N.H.
