If you asked an American what it is to be an American it would sort of be like asking a fish what it is like to be wet; for the typically significant part their simply isn't enough contrast to gather the poignant description the questioner seeks. But there are of course those that try -and succeed, mind you- and see things from a philosophical world view which will put things in perspective which such query can be descriptively satisfied. Yes, Seattle Building Maintenance does require its employees to work hard. They require them to be diligent. Sometimes, perhaps the boss can be seemingly unreasonable. But that is true for anything worth having. I witnessed the most humble employee for Seattle Building Maintenance do her job this last Christmas and New Years holiday. In one of the most swankest commercial buildings with Italian sports cars pulling up out front and $500 Louis Vuitton shoes scuffing a SBM diligent employee polished floor pitter-pattering back and forth all night through the lobby connecting the restaurant while camera flashes obtrusively popped all night and The Emerald City's creme dela creme (some, not all) continued to party up a mess, that one Seattle Building Maintenance employee just smiled and almost invisibly continued to clean...and all this when the sort of unofficial after-party patrons should have been gone yet not forgotten. We don't live in a world anymore where you get to sue because you got a piece of dust on your shoes and now some intergalactic space moth has made reservations in your pocket suit because of it so now everyone should kiss your but including your boss. That is the antithesis of the American spirit; the hard working American spirit. It is a dark world we live in. Cleanliness is next to godliness, I have heard. I witnessed humility, diligence and determined results and so what if that women's boss was a little overzealous about cracking the whip in honoring the contract Seattle Building Maintenance has with the property managers. I will take the task master any day of the week over the show up whenever you want to maintenance manager. The task-master, ultimately is going to make sure my own $500 shoes are going to stay planted securely on a high-gloss floor and not one laden with some unseen liquid that ultimately is going to cost me $4500 to replace my teeth from a slip and fall. I have worked with this company for a year now and this company is the worst they do not train you and expect you to do a whole lot of work but when I saw a lot I mean a lot in little time period of 8 hours half of the staff dose not even take breaks because they fall to far behind this company does not care about it employees at all they are self fish and careless so think twice before you apply or even to be a customer with them go to the real company like ABM, MASTERS,SMS,ETC
