A great BBQ joint with a lot of atmosphere. One of the first things I do when getting to the Seattle area is find a way to Dixies. Its a culinary opportunity to meet "The Man" himself!

This place reminds me of the Soup Nazi episode on Seinfeld. Make sure you know what you're going to order, don't ask questions, and no chit chat! The line can be really long and the parking can really suck but seeing the cast of characters, Gene mumbling and cursing to himself, LJ taking no bull at the food line, and Dixie just seems like a sweet, gentle lady. Food is good, not the greatest, but I like to go there for the amusement.

unless you are REALLY into hot food. Good BBQ, was bad parking, great place to grab something different when the sun is out.
